Job summary

The Walsh Group seeks a Sr. HSE Manager for its Data Center Group in Mount Pleasant, WI. You will lead health, safety, and environmental programs across projects, ensuring compliance with corporate and regional EHS standards.

You will oversee EHS teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive investigations and corrective actions. Strong leadership, communication skills, and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field; CHST preferred or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience on major construction projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time
• Knowledge of regulations and standards; hazard recognition and injury management abilities
• Some travel required; ability to stand, walk, sit and climb stairs or ladders

Responsibilities

• Implements comprehensive EHS processes for all assigned projects and coordinates with PMs and EHS personnel
• Oversees HSE Managers and collaborates with the management team to develop site-specific HSE plans
• Coordinates subcontractor EHS protocols, vendors, and owner personnel on projects
• Leads investigations and implements corrective actions to meet work standards
• Ensures required EHS reports are complete and submitted per procedures
• Implements Industrial Hygiene protocols across sites
• Manages Drug-Free Workplace Policy including testing for pre-employment, random, and follow-up
• Provides safety training and new-hire EHS orientation programs
• Delivers weekly EHS updates to leadership and administers SPAT process on projects
