Job summary

MANN+HUMMEL seeks an HSE intern to support multi-plant Health, Safety and Environment initiatives in the USA. The role emphasizes assisting with EMS, regulatory compliance and disaster planning, with involvement at the Dunlap, TN site and potential training in Michigan or other locations.

The intern will aid in data collection, records maintenance, and training coordination while gaining exposure to OSHA requirements and environmental programs across plants.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Understanding of Quality and Environmental Systems requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing health, safety and environmental programs to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support EMS activities to align with ISO 14001 and maintain third-party registrations.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and training related to HSE across facilities.
• Assist with environmental records, waste management, air emissions data and regulatory reporting.
• Participate in safety committees and promote effective HSE communications.
