Job Description

We invite you to help shape the future of agriculture and play a role in safely feeding the world while caring for our planet.
Syngenta's Production & Supply Team is seeking an HSE Intern in Greensboro, NC. This internship role will provide a unique opportunity for a senior student focused on a Health, Safety, and Environmental degree program to work alongside and be mentored by the Syngenta North America Regional HSE Team, some of the best in the industry.
The overall purpose of the job is to deliver appropriate complex HSE projects in accordance with internship requirements, while building experience and confidence to potentially expand in the role and act as an assistant HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) advisor/liaison for our Greensboro, North Carolina Crop Protection headquarters. However, that would depend on performance, comfort level, and any applicable agreement with the university internship advisor, as long as it does not impede the completion of required projects for course credit.
In addition, part of this assignment will involve responsibility for assisting with assessing, advising, and auditing various HSE codes for a new office and research & development building project.
As part of Syngenta's Emerging Talent Program, you will gain hands‑on experience, exposure to day‑to‑day business operations, and opportunities to apply your academic knowledge to real‑world challenges while developing your professional skills.
