Zusammenfassung

US Coatings is seeking an HSE Coordinator to support safety programs on shipyard projects. You will assist in inspecting, testing, and evaluating workplace environments to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures under the supervision of the safety director.

Responsibilities include administering safety plans, investigating incidents, delivering training, maintaining safety records, and coordinating with on-site safety personnel to mitigate risks. Travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced knowledge of current construction and general industry safety regulations.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to train and motivate employees.

Aufgaben

• Administer safety program on projects as assigned.
• Investigate serious accidents and environmental incidents.
• Plan, prepare, and present safety training as needed.
• Maintain the safety program database and write reports.
• Perform job hazard analyses and stop unsafe work.
• Coach employees and management on safety compliance.
• Participate in customer safety initiatives and programs.
• Coordinate with site safety personnel to resolve issues.
• Investigate incidents; preserve evidence and document findings.
• Coordinate transportation of injured employees to medical facilities.
• Track and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
