Job summary

AES Drilling Fluids, LLC seeks an HSE Coordinator in Midland, TX to develop and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs ensuring the highest safety standards for employees.

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will coordinate training, oversee DOT compliance and fleet safety, and assist with safety procedures, incident investigations, and regulatory permits. A strong benefits package is offered with the role.

Qualifications

• At least five years of safety, environmental, and health management experience.
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
• Ability to travel 30-50%.
• MSHA facility oversight experience a plus.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and internet research.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities’ employees comply with HSE laws and codes.
• Coordinate HSE training for staff.
• Ensure DOT-regulated activities comply with laws.
• Oversee DOT-regulated fleet management and maintenance.
• Assist with safety, hazmat procedures and policies.
• Identify hazardous conditions and conduct on-site inspections.
• Monitor HSE training compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Assist with permits from federal, state, and local entities.
• Investigate accidents and recommend prevention measures.
• Conduct special projects as assigned.
