Job summary

W-Industries in Houston is seeking an HSE Coordinator I to provide administrative and operational support to the health, safety and environmental department. You will respond to inquiries from employees, vendors, agencies and managers and help ensure regulatory compliance.

This role covers two locations at Gears Rd and Champions Park, and requires OSHA 10/30 training, HS diploma, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 hour required.
• OSHA certification of completion preferred: OSHA 510 or 511 OSH Standards / OSHA 501 Trainer Course Occupational Safety & Health Standard

Responsibilities

• Implement safety, health, and environmental programs in assigned facilities.
• Respond to inquiries from employees, vendors, agencies and managers.
• Coordinate activities with front line supervisors and employees on HSE matters.
• Assist in internal and external audits and corrective actions.
• Provide HSE expertise and support regulatory compliance efforts.
• Deliver training on HSE programs and procedures.
• Maintain and submit HSE reports and documentation.
• Assist in compliance with state, federal and local safety regulations.
• Engage safety committees and promote safety awareness across locations.
