Job summary

Blackstar Equipment Rentals, LLC is seeking a motivated Junior HSE Coordinator to support daily safety operations across our West Texas oilfield operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their safety career who is organized, dependable, and eager to learn while working closely with field staff.

The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel to customer sites across West Texas and southeastern New Mexico.

Qualifications

• +2 years of safety or oilfield experience preferred.
• OSHA 10, H2S, or SafeLand certifications preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine field safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Review and audit daily Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Assist with employee safety orientations and training.
• Conduct toolbox talks and participate in safety meetings.
• Monitor employee PPE compliance and safe work practices.
• Assist with incident investigations and safety documentation.
• Maintain employee training records and safety certifications.
• Help ensure compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
• Assist with DOT paperwork and vehicle safety inspections.
• Travel to customer locations throughout West Texas and southeastern New Mexico.

Blackstar Equipment Rentals is seeking a motivated Junior HSE Coordinator to assist with daily safety operations throughout our West Texas oilfield operations. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable working directly with field employees.
