Job summary

Twisted Steel Energy Services is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist / Safety Technician to join our field team in the Midland/Odessa, TX area. You will conduct daily safety inspections, lead JSA/JHA processes, and ensure OSHA and client requirements are met.

Ideal candidates have oilfield safety experience, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently on active job sites across the Permian Basin. Travel will be required to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil & gas, pipeline, or related field operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and oilfield safety practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; maintains records.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field safety inspections and observations.
• Perform and/or participate in JSAs/JHAs and pre-job safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with company, customer, OSHA, and applicable HSE requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and work with field personnel to correct them.
• Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.
• Monitor PPE and jobsite safety requirements.
• Work closely with supervisors, operators, and field crews to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Assist with customer safety audits and site-specific requirements.
• Travel between active jobsites throughout the Permian Basin as needed.

NOW HIRING: HSE SPECIALIST / SAFETY TECHNICIAN

Twisted Steel Energy Services is seeking an experienced HSE Specialist / Safety Technician to join our team in the Midland/Odessa – Permian Basin area.

We are looking for someone who understands oilfield and pipeline construction, is comfortable working directly with field crews, and knows how to maintain a strong safety culture without losing sight of field operations and productivity.

Position: HSE Specialist / Safety Technician

Location: Midland/Odessa, TX & surrounding Permian Basin

Schedule: Full-Time | Approximately 50 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field safety inspections and observations

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous HSE/Safety experience in oil & gas, pipeline, construction, or related field operations
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and oilfield safety practices
• Experience working around pipeline construction, heavy equipment, excavation/trenching, lifting operations, and/or poly/steel pipeline installation preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skillsComfortable addressing safety concerns directly with field personnel
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment

Relevant safety certifications are a plus.
