Job summary

Bilfinger is seeking an experienced HSE Consultant (5-10 years) to lead risk assessments, consequence modelling, and fire protection design for process safety projects in the Middle East. You will work with ADNOC/QatarEnergy standards, interpret PFDs/P&IDs, and guide junior consultants through HSE workshops and client interfaces.

Required engineering degree, 5+ years in oil & gas, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or equivalent in relevant experience.
Familiarity with ADNOC/QatarEnergy Standards and international HSE codes.
Experience in Middle East oil & gas HSE consultancy (UAE/Qatar/Muscat).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas sector.
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Fast typing with high attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Experience in Qualitative and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) studies and modelling tools.
Undertaking Consequence modelling, Fire Risk Assessments, and ventilation studies.
Execute projects related to fire protection system design.
Interpret PFDs, P&IDs and relevant HSE workshop documentation.
Scribing for HAZID/ENVID/OHID, SIMOPS, SIL, ALARP workshops.
Familiarization with tools such as PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, MS Word/Excel.
Lead projects with junior HSE consultants; interface with clients.
Review HSEIA studies including Bow tie, EERA, ESSA, and COMAH studies.
Ensure adherence to project procedures and international codes.
