Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) in Mentor, OH, seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead the HSE function and ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DHS, and Safran requirements.

You will collaborate with HR, Engineering, Quality, Leadership, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to integrate safety into daily operations, develop training, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health & safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in environmental, health, and safety compliance within a manufacturing, aerospace, or similarly regulated environment.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, presenting, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DHS, and applicable regulations.
• Ability to adjust schedule to meet the demands of all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HSE department and collaborate with internal departments to define safety goals and responsibilities.
• Lead the HSE Department to promote safety initiatives and provide reporting tools for visibility and action tracking.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and act as primary contact for agencies (OSHA, EPA, DHS).
• Analyze HSE performance metrics, audit results, and incident trends to identify improvement opportunities.
