Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives in a U.S. manufacturing facility.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable regulations while developing and executing robust safety programs. You will drive safety training, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation, to foster a strong safety culture and operational

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and applicable federal and state safety regulations.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, safety training, regulatory compliance activities, and risk assessments.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience and familiarity with IATF 16949 standards is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
  • Establish safety objectives and strategies aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct facility safety assessments, audits, and inspections to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
  • Lead accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis, reporting, and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Develop and administer employee safety training programs across all levels of the organization.
  • Deliver presentations and facilitate training sessions for large groups.
  • Prepare and submit internal and external safety reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop annual health and safety goals, metrics, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Manage safety recognition and reward programs to promote employee engagement and accountability.
  • Support the organization in regulatory inspections, audits, and safety-related hearings.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable federal, state and local requirements.
  • Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead and drive all environmental, health, and safety initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
