Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Associate in Omaha to assist with developing complex procedures and guidance within the HSE program. You will support the Environment Health and Safety function, safeguarding employees and communities while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

Key duties include monitoring injury and incident performance, developing strategic solutions, and presenting findings to management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3–4 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and complex content concisely and logically.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support in monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Assist with development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance.
• Verify permits, licenses, applications, and records for compliance.
• Present inspection records and violations to management with recommended solutions.
• Inform management, clients and employees of advanced control regulations and findings.
• Assist management in cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
• Gather and analyze data to solve complex problems and propose new techniques.
• Impact own team and related teams; suggest process improvements.
