Job summary

Spitzer Industries, Inc. seeks an experienced HSE specialist to implement and monitor safety programs across our Texas facilities. The role emphasizes training, incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards.

You will mentor staff, conduct audits, and support hazard analyses, toolbox talks, and safety planning with a hands-on approach on shop floors and office environments.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual and proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Experience in HSE in oil and gas fabrication preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and related software.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor employees to improve safety.
• Deliver and facilitate safety training programs (new hire orientation, forklift certification, first aid).
• Ensure adherence to SII HSE Management System requirements.
• Provide technical safety support as needed.
• Oversee Worker Safety Teams.
• Review JSA’s and perform quality checks.
• Participate in safety audits and assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and share lessons learned.
• Assist with safety walkthroughs and observations.
• Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Engage in Hazard Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Toolbox Talks.
• Review HAZID/HAZOPs and other risk assessments.
• Attend project planning meetings.
• Ensure subcontractors meet HSE expectations.
• Support mobilization activities and training prior to field operations.
