Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HSE, risk, compliance or related areas.
• ASP, CSP, CRSP, CHST or equivalent certifications are desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory capabilities with cross-functional influence.
• Experience supporting tenders, proposals, audits and contractor compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, review and improve HSE policies, procedures and management systems across the Americas.
• Build strong relationships with client HSE, procurement and operations stakeholders.
• Support contractor assurance programs, prequalification processes, audits and supplier assessments.
• Contribute to bids, tenders, proposals, RFIs and RFPs to support growth.
• Participate in client reviews, growth planning and account strategy sessions.
• Guide recruiters, sales and operations on HSE requirements and risk management best practices.
• Identify emerging compliance trends and opportunities to enhance service delivery.

Join NES Fircroft as a key member of our Risk & HSE team, supporting the implementation, administration and continual improvement of our Health, Safety and Environmental Management System across the Americas region. This role partners closely with operational teams, recruiters, sales professionals, contractors and clients to drive compliance excellence, strengthen client relationships and support business growth. Based in Houston, Texas and reporting to the Head of Risk & HSE, the position plays a critical role in ensuring HSE best practice supports both operational delivery and commercial success.

What You'll Be Doing:

• HSE Management Systems: Maintain, review and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures, standards and management systems across the Americas region.
• Client Partnership: Build strong relationships with client HSE, procurement and operational stakeholders while acting as a trusted point of contact for assurance and compliance matters.
• Risk & Compliance Leadership: Support contractor assurance programmes, prequalification processes, audits, supplier assessments and compliance initiatives.
• Commercial Support: Contribute to bids, tenders, proposals, RFIs and RFPs while supporting business development and account growth objectives.
• Strategic Account Engagement: Participate in client reviews, growth planning discussions and account strategy sessions, providing risk and compliance expertise.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Guide recruiters, sales teams and operational leaders on HSE requirements, contractor assurance and risk management best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify emerging compliance trends, client requirements and opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational performance.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Professional Certifications: ASP, CSP, CRSP, CHST or equivalent professional certifications are highly desirable.
• Industry Experience: A minimum of five years' experience within HSE, Risk, Compliance, Client Assurance or a related field.
• Client-Focused Approach: Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and deliver high levels of service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Commercial Awareness: Experience supporting tenders, proposals, audits, supplier assessments and contractor compliance programmes.
• Communication Skills: Strong stakeholder management and advisory capabilities with the ability to influence across multiple functions.
