Job summary

Motion is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to deliver quality customer service at a key Jacksonville location. The role supports location sales and assists customers face-to-face with product knowledge and problem solving.

Responsibilities include building customer assemblies, troubleshooting issues, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with the Solutions Center Manager and outside sales to grow the business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Basic mechanical/technical inclination and shop tools knowledge.
• Experience in customer-facing roles and consultative selling is a plus.

SUMMARY

Under close supervision, the Counter Sales Representative provides quality customer service and support at a key location in the retail and service business segment.

JOB DUTIES

Supports location sales by providing first class customer service to local market. Assists in servicing customers face-to-face through familiarity and knowledge of products. Troubleshoots customer problems and provides creative solutions. Identifies and builds customer assemblies. Ensures knowledge of use of all equipment. Works closely with the Solutions Center Manager and outside sales group to develop and grow the business. Assists team in overall maintenance of the location. Participates in making sure all safety guidelines are followed. Maintains key relationships with customers. Ensures customer service and value-add is a focal point of every interaction. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and zero (0) to three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
