Job summary

Cincinnati Public Schools in Cincinnati, Ohio, seeks a HS Varsity Head Cheer Coach for the Spencer Center. This supplemental annual limited role requires leadership of the cheer program, oversight of tryouts, practices, and game operations.

The coach will develop training, mentor student-athletes, and ensure safety and compliance with OHSAA/ODE. Prior cheer coaching experience and ability to inspire are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant coaching experience preferred.
• Citizen, residency or work visa as required by district.
• Provide satisfactory background checks (County/State/FBI) and PAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Cheer Program including tryouts, practices, and games.
• Serve as Varsity Head Cheer Coach and develop a training program.
• Motivate and mentor student-athletes on and off the Court/Field.
• Instruct and guide athletes in skills, strategies, and physical training.
• Model discipline, teamwork, and strong character during activities.
• Ensure safety and compliance with District/ODE/OHSAA requirements.
