Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field; Bachelor’s degree in Education a plus.
• Current Substitute License through ODE or the ability to obtain a current license
• Ability to be available for last-minute coverage throughout the week.

Responsibilities

• Execute lesson plans consistent with teacher guidelines and school curriculum
• Create lesson plans if none are available (Long-Term Substitutes only)
• Record attendance according to school procedure
• Maintain discipline in the classroom and foster a safe, positive, and productive learning environment
• Provide supervision of students during class times, passing periods, and lunch
• Become familiar with school emergency protocols such as fire drills and lockdowns
