Job summary

Columbus Academy in Gahanna, OH seeks qualified substitutes across Lower, Middle and Upper Schools to join our flexible teaching pool. Candidates should be prepared to teach any discipline in multiple divisions as needed, and hold a current Ohio teaching license with a education degree preferred.

The School:

Founded in 1911, Columbus Academy is a coeducational college preparatory day school of over 1,100 students age 3 through grade 12 located on a 231-acre campus in Gahanna, Ohio. Student programs are organized into three divisions: Lower School (age 3-grade 5), Middle School (grades 6-8) and Upper School (grades 9-12). The school offers a vigorous academic program as part of its mission to educate the whole child – mind, body and character. The Position:

Columbus Academy is currently accepting applications for Substitute Teachers for all divisions (Lower, Middle and Upper Schools) and for all disciplines.

Qualifications:

A current Ohio teaching license, bachelor’s degree in education or related field, and prior teaching experience are preferred.
