Qualifications include a Bachelor's and Texas teaching certificate, with preferred Master’s and 3 years of classroom experience. This exempt, full-time position reports to the Principal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and teaching certificate required.
• Preferred Master’s Degree and 3 years classroom experience.
• Requires Texas bilingual and ESL certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of LPAC process and language support services.
• Experience with data analysis and LPAC meetings.

Responsibilities

• Coach teachers to tailor instruction for varied language proficiency levels.
• Collaborate on interventions for ELL student success.
• Provide plans for additional academic/language supports.
• Convene LPAC meetings for placement and monitoring.
• Analyze student data to guide LPAC and teachers.
• Maintain records of progress and accommodations.
• Monitor coding of ELL student information for testing.
• Train teachers to analyze language data for instruction.
• Participate in district LPAC trainings and professional development.
• Support LPAC and ARD processes for ELL/SpEd students.
• Assist campus with state and federal compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
