Job summary

Marion-Polk Food Share, Inc. is seeking an HRSN Operations Coordinator for a limited-duration, part-time role in Salem, OR.

The position supports distribution of food to Oregon Health Plan members in the HRSN Nutrition Program, coordinating orders, prep, distribution and volunteer training. You are a collaborative problem-solver with strong people skills, able to engage diverse groups and manage volunteer teams while ensuring adherence to food safety and civil rights guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with diverse groups and dispersed teams.
• Excellent people skills and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and frequent driving.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.
• Willingness to train and supervise volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate distribution of Fruit and Vegetable and Pantry Stocking HRSN Nutrition Benefits.
• Ensure boxes are packed accurately and delivered weekly to clients; lead the operational side of the HRSN program.
• Coordinate volunteer distributions to up to 200 clients weekly.
• Organize, train and support volunteer delivery drivers and conduct home deliveries as needed.
