Job summary

TIC_Craft in Rayville, LA seeks a Lead construction supervisor to direct crew daily activities and production aligned with project timelines, plans, specs and codes. You will provide safety and operational training and coordinate with other crafts as needed.

You will plan, organize people, equipment and materials, ensure equipment is operated and maintained, and maintain accurate reporting on quantities, productivity and time sheets. Expect irregular hours and outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lead and supervise craft workers effectively.
• Experience planning and coordinating labor, equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• May assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing of activities for the crew.
• Ensure on-time completion within estimated costs while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Maintain crew safety and enforce company/government safety rules; conduct toolbox talks.
