Job summary

AEVEX is seeking an HR Systems Analyst to own and optimize HR technology, focusing on UKG and related platforms. You will drive data integrity, reporting capabilities, and workflow automation while partnering with HR, IT, Security and leaders to enable data-driven decisions.

The role requires deep HRIS experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions. This position is based in Solana Beach, CA and offers robust benefits.

Qualifications

• BS degree in HR, IS, or business required.
• 4+ years in HRIS/HR operations.
• Hands-on with multiple UKG modules.
• Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, UKG BI).
• Experience with workflows, integrations and automation.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Own HR systems ownership & configuration for UKG and related platforms.
• Design and optimize HR workflows within HRSD, People Assist, and Document Manager.
• Partner with People Ops to automate manual processes and scale solutions.
• Ensure data governance and data integrity across systems.
• Develop HR reporting strategies and dashboards using UKG analytics.

Job description

The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of HR systems, primarily UKG and related platforms. This role serves as the subject matter expert for HR technology, driving data integrity, system efficiency, reporting capabilities, and workflow automation. The Analyst partners cross-functionally with HR, IT, Security and business leaders to enhance HR processes, enable data-driven decision-making, and support workforce planning initiatives.

Essential Functions

HR Systems Ownership & Configuration

• Serve as system owner for UKG, Greenhouse Onboarding and related HR systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality
• Manage system configuration, including business rules, workflows, and organizational structures
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and releases; act as primary point of contact for system changes
• Administer system security roles, permissions, and access controls

Workflow & Process Optimization

• Design, build, and maintain HR workflows within HRSD, People Assist, and Document Manager.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual HR processes and improve operational efficiency
• Partner with People Ops team to transition transactional work into scalable system solutions
• Ensure alignment between HR processes and system capabilities

Data Management & Governance

• Establish and maintain data governance standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
• Develop audit frameworks and monitor data quality across systems
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies and lead root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Act as primary liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors for system-related initiatives

Reporting & Analytics

• Own HR reporting strategy, including dashboards, metrics, and analytics
• Develop and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using UKG People Analytics and other tools
• Support workforce planning through org chart tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Competencies

• S. Citizenship required.

Education / Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field required
• HRIS or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, or related field
• Hands-on experience with multiple UKG Modules is required (UKG Pro, UKG WFM, UKG HRSD, etc).
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g., UKG BI, WFM Reporting, Power BI, etc.)
• Experience with system configuration, workflows, and integrations
• Experience with workflow automation and process improvement
