Principal, Professional Services Division at Green Key Resources

We’re seeking an experienced HRIS Leader to guide the strategic direction, configuration, and ongoing management of the Workday HCM system. This individual will partner with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to optimize system performance, ensure data integrity, and drive process improvements. The HRIS Leader will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing Workday across the organization, serving as a technical point-of-contact and trusted partner to HR and business leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the overall HRIS strategy, overseeing system changes, enhancements, and long-term roadmap.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify needs and configure Workday to optimize efficiency and functionality.
  • Lead Workday development projects end-to-end, ensuring projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including change management and process optimization.
  • Conduct process reviews, data audits, and manage risk, issues, and change controls.
  • Perform hands-on system administration, including role/security assignments and organizational changes.
  • Support training and communication efforts related to Workday updates and functionality.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, vendors, and consultants to achieve system goals and integrations.
  • Provide leadership with updates on development needs, budgeting, and system enhancements.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 7+ years of HRIS-related experience.
  • Deep expertise in Workday HCM, including modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, Succession, Absence, and Reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday data model, configuration, security, and business process framework.
  • Proficiency with Workday Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) for data load and transformation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive collaboration and trust.
  • High professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strategic planning and HR technology roadmap development experience.
  • Workday Pro certification or equivalent implementation experience.
  • Experience with SAP S4/Hana Financials.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting rules (OFCCP, VEVRAA, EEO/AA) and compliance regulations (Davis-Bacon, OSHA, etc.).
  • Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Experience in the construction industry a plus.
