Job summary

Goodwin’s Global Operations Team seeks an HRIS Analyst to deliver functional and technical support for Workday HCM, HRMS, and related tools. You’ll partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits and IT to identify requirements, test changes, and design efficient data workflows.

You will create EIBs, develop reports and dashboards, and help ensure data quality while supporting upgrades and system improvements. A strong service mindset is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of Workday HCM system experience with knowledge of Human Resources and Benefits processes and policy required.
  • Ability to support multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to system users and promote team collaboration.
  • Requires proven ability to partner with process owners to define functional and system requirements.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical support analyst primarily for Workday Absence, Time Tracking and Payroll system projects and initiatives.
  • Provide support for HRMS, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Create and maintain EIBs to support mass data updates and system processes.
  • Assist in development of Workday standard reports and dashboards supporting operational and leadership needs to deliver clear, usable insights.
  • Provide functional and technical support, identify and troubleshoot system problems while ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Participate in reviewing, planning, testing and implementing Workday upgrades.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, data quality, and the overall user experience.

The position of HRIS Analyst will be responsible for providing functional and technical support on the use of HR applications, with a particular emphasis on Workday HCM. This position collaborates closely with HR, Talent, Payroll, Benefits and IT departments to identify system requirements and deliver effective HRIS solutions. While focusing on Workday HCM, supporting other HR tools will be a key aspect of this role in addition to partnering with vendors as needed. This role serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, some integration configuration, and analyzing data flows for continuous improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate brings strong Workday HCM experience, a service‑oriented mindset, and the ability to work comfortably at the intersection of HR operations, systems, and data.

What You Will Do:

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience supporting HR/benefits/payroll integrations, EIBs, vendor feeds, or related system interfaces.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.

The Target Salary Range For This Position Varies By Location And Is Commensurate With Relevant Experience: Boston $80,000 - $100,000
