Job summary

Capital One in McLean, VA is seeking a Human Resource Vertical Risk Advisor to guide business partners on HR risk policies and programs, and to support day-to-day risk management within the Enterprise Risk Management framework. You will collaborate with HR, Legal and Compliance, lead risk assessments, document controls in FUSE, and support audits, regulatory changes, and risk reporting across HR functions.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least five years of risk management or HR

Qualifications

• 5+ years of risk management or HR experience.
• 2+ years of process management experience.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on implementing HR risk policies and programs.
• Support HR risk assessments and regulatory applicability.
• Document controls in the Risk Management system of record, FUSE.
• Assist with audits and exams.
• Collaborate with HR, Legal and Compliance to assess regulatory changes.
