Job summary

Summit School Services LLC in Warrenville, IL seeks an experienced HR Project Leader to drive people initiatives that align with business priorities. You will lead initiatives from concept through planning, communication, implementation and adoption, often serving as both project lead and hands-on contributor.

You will partner with HR leaders and function teams to manage change, develop communications, build project plans, and measure success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of HR experience with generalist and specialist exposure.
• Experience managing projects or initiatives within HR.
• Experience supporting or leading change, transformation, or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication skills for leaders, employees, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify people-related priorities with HR and business leaders.
• Lead HR initiatives from start to finish (planning, execution, communication, follow-up).
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, status updates, and success metrics.
• Coordinate work across HR specialty teams (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, L&D, TM, Compliance, Analytics).
• Develop and execute change management plans to drive adoption.
• Prepare clear communications for diverse audiences (toolkits, policies, announcements, FAQs).
