HR Transactions Specialist — Oracle ERP & Payroll

Job summary

SLAC Human Resources seeks an experienced HR professional to administer all employment transactions, serving as a resource on HR/Payroll procedures. You will contribute to the transition to the Oracle ERP system and align processes with the university’s new service delivery model.

The role requires handling confidential information, data management, and collaboration with HR Partners and Payroll. This is a one-year fixed-term appointment with potential extension depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Two years of experience in Human Resources is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills are a must.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer records transactions and liaise with Stanford University Payroll.
• Enter full range of Oracle Cloud data for personnel transactions (new hires, changes, terminations).
• Coordinate data management activities and ensure compliance with Stanford policies.
• Process and submit accurate transactions to payroll (via Service Now).
• Research and resolve records, payroll and HR inquiries; refer complex issues as needed.
• Serve as a resource on HR Records and Payroll issues and communicate HR policies.
