Job summary

Menk USA seeks an HR Trainer to support employee training, onboarding, and key HR activities in our manufacturing environment.

The HR Trainer will ensure training records are accurate and onboarding is consistent, working with HR, Operations, Safety/EHS, and supervisors. This hands-on role requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while helping employees learn and succeed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in training or HR administration in manufacturing.
  • Experience coordinating employee training and maintaining records.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn HRIS and other business systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate required employee training and maintain the training matrix and records.
  • Schedule and coordinate training activities, including materials, attendance, documentation, and records.
  • Coordinate new-hire orientation and onboarding activities, ensuring documentation and milestones are completed timely.
  • Maintain accurate employee documentation, HRIS information and training records.
  • Prepare routine training and HR reports, spreadsheets, status updates for HR and Operations.
  • Support transfers, promotions and workforce changes by coordinating documentation and onboarding activities.
  • Support employee communications, recognition activities, engagement initiatives, and HR programs.
  • Identify training and administrative needs with HR, Operations and Safety/EHS and support process improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and escalate concerns to HR Leader.

About the Role

Menk USA is seeking an HR Trainer to support employee training, onboarding, and key HR activities within our manufacturing environment.

The HR Trainer will play an important role in ensuring employees receive required training, training records remain accurate and current, and new employees have a consistent and effective onboarding experience. This position will work closely with Human Resources, Operations, Safety/EHS, supervisors, and employees to coordinate training requirements and provide day-to-day HR support. The HR Trainer will report to the HR Leader.

This is a hands-on role for an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with people, coordinating multiple priorities, and helping employees succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate required employee training, maintain the training matrix and records, track completion, and follow up on outstanding training requirements.

  • Schedule and coordinate training activities, including training materials, attendance, documentation, and completion records.

  • Coordinate new-hire orientation and onboarding activities, ensuring required documentation and onboarding milestones are completed timely.

  • Maintain accurate employee documentation, personnel records, HRIS information, and training records.

  • Prepare routine training and HR reports, spreadsheets, status updates, and other information for Human Resources and Operations.

  • Support employee transfers, promotions, job changes, and other workforce changes by coordinating required documentation, onboarding activities, and training.

  • Support employee communications, recognition activities, engagement initiatives, newsletters, and other HR programs.

  • Partner with Human Resources, Operations, and Safety/EHS to identify training and administrative needs and support process improvements.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and appropriately escalate employee or compliance concerns to the HR Leader.

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

  • At least 2 years of experience in training, human resources, administration, manufacturing, or a related field.

  • Experience coordinating employee training and maintaining training records preferred.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with employees, supervisors, managers, and cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to learn and effectively use HRIS, training, reporting, and other business systems.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling employee information.

Success in This Role

Success in the HR Trainer role will be measured by:

  • Timely completion of required employee training.

  • Accurate and current training records and training matrix.

  • Consistent and timely completion of new-hire onboarding.

  • Accurate HR documentation and HRIS information.

  • Timely reporting and follow-up on outstanding training requirements.

  • Effective support of employees, Operations, Safety/EHS, and Human Resources.
