Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Talentful HR co-op in Ridgefield, CT to support HR technology strategy, process improvement, and data-driven insights. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with HR and IT to translate business needs into scalable solutions.

You'll assist with requirements, design, testing, deployment, adoption, and outcome measurement, focusing on responsible AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing.
• Student must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for the duration of the co-op.
• Overall cumulative GPA 3.0 preferred (on a 4.0 scale).
• Major or minor in Human Resources, business, information systems, data analytics, computer science, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR, business, and technology stakeholders to assess HR processes and technology needs; gather requirements and support design, testing, deployment, and implementation of scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with local IT to pilot technologies like AI/ML, data science, LLMs, IoT, APIs, databases/SQL, and RPA.
• Execute pilot projects using Agile methodologies; document design, lessons learned and key outcomes; transfer knowledge to IT.
• Support HR initiatives and pilots, including dashboards, performance management, talent development, headcount tracking, and other priorities.
• Develop project plans, monitor milestones and risks, incorporate stakeholder feedback throughout the lifecycle.
• Define and track success metrics: user adoption, efficiency, accuracy, user experience, reduction of manual effort.
• Create process documentation, training materials, communications and demonstrations to support adoption and responsible use of solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, responsible AI governance and regulatory requirements.
