Veritas HHS seeks a HR Specialist to support the Knoxville, TN office in a full-time, in-person role reporting to the VP of Human Resources and the Program Manager in Memphis. The position covers HR documentation, recruitment support, performance documentation, onboarding, and policy execution.

The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree in HR or related field with at least two years of HR admin experience, and demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills, plus proficiency with

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred).
• Minimum two years in HR administrator or administrative support roles.
• Strong communication skills and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Communicate HR document changes to employees (e.g., employee handbook).
• Provide recruiting support with job postings and ATS maintenance.
• Guide management on employee matters and apply the Veritas HHS Progressive Discipline Process.
• Ensure employee performance discussions are documented and reviewed by VP HR.
• Serve as the point of contact for people-related matters.
• Process new hires including onboarding and electronic files.
• Process terminations following supervisor guidance.
• Create and facilitate hiring processes from candidate presentation to onboarding.
• Approve filling open positions with VP of HR.
