Job summary

JBS USA invites you to join a 10-week summer internship in Human Resources to gain hands-on experience across departments and processes. You will work with HR leadership to identify gaps, learn recruitment, onboarding, payroll, investigations, and training while contributing to projects with real business impact.

You will be mentored, exposed to leadership, and have the opportunity to develop both your technical and business knowledge in a multicultural environment that values our people.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year university pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR department.
• Learn all HR functions including hiring, onboarding, orientation, EEOC, recruitment.
• Brainstorm ideas to improve programs.
• Shadow investigations and potential discipline.
• Understand absenteeism and turnover metrics.
• Assist in coordinating and implementing engagement surveys.
• Complete and present a project related to HR issues.
