Job summary

JBS USA is offering a 10-week summer internship in our Human Resources department in Texas. You will gain hands-on exposure to Hiring, On-Boarding, Orientation, EEOC, Recruitment, Training and Payroll while learning from experienced professionals and supporting ongoing HR initiatives.

Recommended candidates are enrolled in a four-year university with a minimum 2.5 GPA and must be able to lift 50 lbs. The role includes a $22/hour wage and a $2,500 relocation stipend, with post-offer background

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Will provide support to the HR department.
• Learn all departments of Human Resources including Hiring, On-Boarding, Orientation, EEOC, Recruitment, Training & Development, Payroll, Policy Enforcement, etc.
• Brainstorm ideas to improve programs related to recruitment, retention, recognition, policy enforcement, etc.
• Shadow investigations and understand absenteeism and turnover metrics.
