Job summary

Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. in Irvine, CA (Hybrid, 3 days in office) or Remote is seeking a Manager for HR Strategic Projects & Operations. You will lead cross-functional HR initiatives, build clear project plans, and drive execution while managing risks and stakeholder expectations.

The role emphasizes governance, executive-ready communications, and change management across HR and partner teams. Strong PM discipline and 8+ years of relevant experience are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in project or program management, operations, consulting, or HR-related delivery.
• Strong PM discipline: scoping, planning, governance, milestones, risk management, stakeholder management, execution.
• Proven ability to drive work forward in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator who can translate complex information into concise updates and executive-ready materials.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and project tracking; translate data into useful materials.
• HR experience helpful but strong PM capability is essential.
• Relationship-oriented and able to build trust across teams and leadership levels.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, self-directed and hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR projects and programs from intake through execution with clear scope, milestones, owners, risks, decisions, and success metrics.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across HRBPs, COEs, Communications, Labor, Legal, People Analytics, Talent, Compensation, and HR business partners.
• Keep projects moving by tracking dependencies, surfacing risks early, solving problems, and holding teams to commitments.
• Develop executive-ready materials including project updates, decision documents, and concise summaries for leaders.
• Support change management with communications, leadership materials, rollout plans, and feedback loops.
• Own and operationalize key programs, workstreams, and operating rhythms end to end.
• Recommend improvements to procedures, governance, and ways of working.
• Unblock work and drive tasks to move the program forward.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HR data.
