Responsibilities

• Perform quality reviews and documentation updates for data integrity and compliance.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Operations to resolve questions.
• Support process improvements to increase efficiency and service delivery.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist - Shared Services for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a fast-paced HR operations environment in the aerospace and defense industry. This 100% onsite role in the Torrey Pines area of San Diego is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional with a strong background in employee records, HR transactions, payroll support, data entry, case management, and shared services support.

This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative HR team with supportive leadership, structured processes, and exposure to multiple areas of HR operations. Candidates who enjoy accuracy-driven work, employee service, process improvement, and high-volume transaction processing will be well positioned for success. The role also offers long-term potential through extension or conversion, along with a stable day-shift schedule and strong benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, review, validate, and maintain employee and organizational data with a high level of accuracy.
• Manage HR service requests, cases, and tickets while meeting established service levels and response expectations.
• Investigate and resolve employee record discrepancies, missing information, and transaction errors.
• Perform quality reviews, audits, and documentation updates to support HR data integrity and compliance.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Operations teams to resolve employee-related questions and issues.
• Support process improvement efforts that improve efficiency, consistency, and employee service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year.
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire, contract assignment with 6 to 12 month duration and extension or conversion potential.
• Schedule: Day shift.
