Fleet Readiness Center Southwest is seeking a HR Specialist (Recruitment/Classification) within the Commanding Officer, Command Operations Department, and Human Capital Division. • Review past recruitment practices and local labor market conditions to advise staffing.
• Provide strategic recruitment advisory services to management on where and how to find talent.
• Apply classification principles to interpret and apply standards for sound classification decisions.
• Analyze and administer organizational design and position management to boost efficiency.
• Solve HR problems that cross multiple program areas (recruitment, classification, compensation, staffing).
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.

Position Description

You will serve as a HR SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT/CLASSIFICATION) in the Commanding Officer, Command Operations Department, and Human Capital Division of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will work with the management to design, develop, implement and track both activity and HR strategic/business plans to recruit, develop, and retain the talent needed to accomplish the assigned mission.
• You will review past recruitment practices and local labor market conditions to advise on future staffing strategies.
• You will provide strategic recruitment advisory services (i.e., determining the where, how and means to find talent) to management officials.
• You will apply a thorough understanding of classification principles and concepts to interpret and apply classification standards/guides to reach sound classification decisions.
• You will analyze, develop, and administer organizational design and position management to enhance the efficiency and performance of organizations.
• You will solve human resources problems that cross multiple program lines (e.g., recruitment, classification, compensation, staffing, etc.).
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
