Job summary

MVHC is seeking an HR Specialist to support employment needs, answer employee questions about policies, benefits, and procedures. The role emphasizes confidential handling of records, compliance, and collaboration with management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience) and strong Microsoft Word/Excel skills. This is a full-time on-site position with benefits and growth opportunities within MVHC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field is preferred.
• Combination of higher education and 5 years HR experience acceptable.
• High level interpersonal and confidential handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains personnel files and records in compliance with legal requirements.
• Assists with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Manages employee benefits enrollment and open enrollment activities.
• Supports HR policies, training, and employee relations initiatives.
• Ensures accurate payroll paperwork and personnel changes.
• Prepares reports and maintains HR databases.
