Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• Undergraduate degree and/or HR coursework preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist employees and HR in delivering HR services including recruitment, payroll, leave management, onboarding, and employee transactions.
• Administer payroll processing: tracking, auditing, transmitting, correcting payroll transactions.
• Perform recruiting activities: resume screening, interviewing coordination, reference/background checks.
• Coordinate recruitment and onboarding of temporary employees with staffing agencies.
• Coordinate travel and expense reporting for interview candidates.
• Assist with or facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation; ensure tax documents, I-9, and E-verify compliance.
• Support benefits enrollment and open enrollment processes.
• Process terminations and changes to payroll in a timely manner; manage leave coordination with payroll and benefits.
• Maintain confidential employee files and HR documentation; ensure compliance with employment laws.
