Job summary

Butterball in North Carolina is seeking an HR Assistant to support the HR department with records, onboarding, recruitment, and employee relations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role helps maintain compliant HR processes and supports day-to-day HR operations.

You will process HRIS data changes, prepare reports for meetings and audits, assist with internal communications, and help the Talent Acquisition team with postings, screenings, interviews, and new hire orientation.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of relevant HR experience or demonstrated ability.
• Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates HR records, databases, and personnel files to stay compliant.
• Processes HRIS changes such as name updates, addresses, transfers, promotions, terminations.
• Prepares meeting materials and reports; assists audits and regulatory reporting.
• Assists with HR communications and updates channels and bulletins.
• Supports Talent Acquisition with job postings, screenings, interviews, onboarding and orientation.
