Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks an HR Specialist to manage day-to-day operational HR processes, coordinate core activities, and report on Human Capital operations for Talent and Performance Management.

The role supports HR Business Partners, develops reporting, analyzes data, and provides technical HR system support across the bank. A Bachelor’s in HR and 2+ years’ experience are preferred, with strong Excel/MS Office skills. Cincinnati-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related area preferred.
• 2+ years in Human Resources or related business experience preferred.
• Advanced computer skills required and ability to coordinate multiple large projects.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and consultative communication skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment across affiliates and line of business.

Responsibilities

• Supports senior HR Business Partners and translates business needs into actionable HR strategies.
• Creates and develops reporting for HR Business Partners.
• Analyzes data from multiple sources to support Human Capital goals and compile it for end users.
• Develops processes, timely reporting and communications for HC projects and initiatives.
• Provides expert support for HR applications and Microsoft products in the HR suite.
• Acts as liaison with HR Operations and external service providers to support changes and resolve issues.
• Assists in preparation and distribution of communications and tracking to meet deadlines.
• Identifies workflow issues and helps implement policies and procedures.
