Burnham Law is seeking an HR Specialist to partner with the HR Manager across all HR areas, supporting employees, managing daily needs, and improving processes. You’ll own responsibilities, adapt to evolving priorities, and help grow the HR function within a fast-paced, professional services setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, confidentiality, and proactive problem-solving as the team delivers excellent service and fosters a positive workplace culture.

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years of broad Human Resources experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent HR experience considered.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
• Ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and follow through on responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting professionally with employees at all levels.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical solutions.
• Working knowledge of HR practices and applicable employment laws.
• Comfortable in an evolving environment where priorities may develop.

Aufgaben

• HR Operations and Administration: Support day-to-day HR operations and maintain confidential records.
• Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding: Support recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Employee Support: Serve as first contact for routine employee questions and escalations.
• Payroll, Benefits & HRIS: Assist with payroll, benefits, updates, and HRIS maintenance.
• Performance Management & Reporting: Schedule reviews and prepare recurring HR reports.
• Communications, Training & Events: Prepare communications and coordinate training.
• Employee Relations Support: Assist with employee-relations matters and investigations.
