Job summary

United Care ABA is seeking an entry-level HR Specialist to assist with onboarding, payroll support, and compliance. You will enter employees into systems, ensure paperwork is complete, assist with payroll approvals, and handle E-Verify.

This role offers hands-on experience and room to grow within Human Services. You will respond to HR questions, maintain records in Workday, and support HR operations to keep processes compliant as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Entry-level HR role with training provided.
• Some HR, payroll, onboarding or compliance experience preferred.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter cleared applicants into payroll and HR systems.
• Review documentation for accuracy and follow up on missing items.
• Support payroll processing and timesheet approvals to ensure employees are paid correctly.
• Complete E-Verify and maintain compliance records on time.

The Role
As a HR Specialist, you'll be hands-on with new hire processing, payroll support, and compliance. You'll enter employees into systems, ensure paperwork is complete, assist with payroll approvals, and handle compliance tasks like E-Verify. The HR Specialist also supports employees directly by answering HR-related questions and making sure their onboarding experience is smooth. This is an entry-level role with training provided, designed for someone who has a little HR or payroll exposure and wants to build a long-term HR career.

What You'll Do
