The role offers exposure to US labor law changes, complex payroll and benefits programs, and opportunities to contribute to a global energy leader with a comprehensive rewards package.
Welcome to CNOOC International. We are a global energy company and subsidiary of CNOOC Limited with a vision of delivering safe, sustainable energy for all. CNOOC International, the international division of CNOOC Limited, is a global energy company with operations in Asia, Africa, the Americas, the Middle East and Europe. Our successful growth as an upstream oil and gas producer has been achieved by consistently finding and developing world‑class assets. Our business is focused on safely exploring and producing from conventional offshore, unconventional and oil sands assets. As part of the CNOOC Group of companies, which span the entire energy supply chain, our size and capability create a competitive advantage that ensures we deliver long‑term value. In the United States, CNOOC International has working interest in approximately 200,000 net acres in the Eagle Ford basin (South Texas), and 200,000 net acres in the Niobrara basin (Colorado and Wyoming). The assets consist mostly of unconventional shale oil with some unconventional shale wet gas, and the majority of our production is operated by Chesapeake Energy, our partner in a number of leases. Our strategy onshore United States is to maximize value and optimize our shale and tight oil portfolio. As we continue to build our basin mastery, we will focus on working with our partners to develop our most economic and strategic resources.
