Apache Workforce is seeking an experienced and highly organized Bilingual Human Resources Specialist to support our employees and manage essential HR functions in a fast-paced staffing environment.
This position is ideal for an HR professional who is confident handling employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, comfortable managing changing priorities, and committed to providing professional and responsive support to a diverse workforce.
Manage day-to-day HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding
Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, workplace concerns, and HR-related matters
Administer employee benefits, FMLA and other leave programs, and workers' compensation claims
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, OSHA requirements, and company policies
Use Paycor and other HRIS/ATS platforms to manage employee information, recruiting activity, and workforce data
Assist with investigations, corrective actions, performance concerns, and employee documentation
Support employee training, professional development, succession planning, and organizational initiatives
Partner with leadership to improve employee engagement, communication, retention, and workplace culture
Prepare HR reports and monitor important workforce trends and metrics
Lead or support special HR projects as business needs and priorities change
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or at least three years of relevant HR experience
Fluency in English and Spanish is required
Previous experience supporting multiple HR functions
Working knowledge of employment laws, FMLA, workers' compensation, HR best practices, and workplace compliance
Experience using an HRIS or applicant tracking system; Paycor experience is preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information professionally
Ability to work independently, adjust to changing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
HR experience within a staffing agency, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial environment
Experience supporting a large or diverse hourly workforce
Experience with employee investigations, compliance documentation, and safety-related HR matters
