Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an HR Shared Service Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will support recruitment, workforce management, and weekly reporting from our Milwaukee headquarters.

Responsibilities include onboarding/off-boarding, HR data entry, responding to inquiries, and supporting HRSS projects. Enrolled students pursuing HR-related degrees with strong communication and organizational skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• Experience in Workday is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills to provide efficient and timely follow up to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding, Off-boarding, Benefits, HR system data entry, and Reporting.
• Assist with the onboarding of new hires.
• Respond to inquiries from employees, managers and HR partners via telephone, chat, or e-mail with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Interface with HR partners, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, IT, and management to support employee issues.
• Resolve cases quickly and accurately in a professional, customer-focused manner.
• Escalate complex cases to the HR Shared Services Manager.
• Assist with various HRSS projects.
• Support other related tasks as assigned.
