Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an HRConnect Consultant I to handle routine HR, payroll and benefits inquiries and support Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service transactions. You will open cases, follow scripts, input data into Workday and escalate complex issues to Tier II Specialists as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service skills and familiarity with HR processes and HRIS tools. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with HR service and processes as well as HRIS tools and systems.
• Able to navigate computerized data entry systems and other relevant applications.
• Able to follow standard procedures and processes.
• Able to escalates issues timely to the right group.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Answers general questions and redirects misplaced calls.
• Leverages procedures, policy manuals, knowledge databases, other reference materials, to answer employee and manager inquiries and resolve transactions.
• Guides HR Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service transactions.
• Executes select HR related transactions or escalates issues as needed.
• Inputs data into Workday to transact on customer requests.
• Escalates inquiries to Tier II Functional Specialists when deeper knowledge is required.
• Documents inquiries, issues, and transactions in case management tools.
• Participates in continuous improvement workshops and projects.
