Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 weeks in office training.
• Computer skills relating to the company including Microsoft Office, Work Day, Workforce

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring effort, and coordinate orientation and training processes.
• Ensure successful on-boarding of all new hires.
• Work with UFPI HR to ensure employee related matters involving Health Insurance, Benefits, Co-Pays, and Retirement Plans are offered and maintained.
• Collaborate with Dept. Mgrs. regarding employee reviews.
• Maintain employee personnel records and important dates including performance reviews and annual benefits renewals.
• Manage Time & Attendance system, submitting payroll for review and approval.
• Help employees with paperwork, online systems, benefits, PTO & leave issues and questions.
• Understand and communicate company policies, vacation schedules, guidelines and benefits available to employees.
• Facilitate employee engagement and events.
• Lead Safety Team to ensure required compliance is met.
• Regularly inspect facility operations to ensure safe job practices are followed, PPE is properly utilized, and all required machine guards are in place and operational.
• Facilitate investigation of all accidents and near miss occurrences, identify trends and causes and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Work with management to develop safety programs and incentives as appropriate.
• Maintain OSHA 300 log and other required reports.
• Prepare regular and special reports as required.
