Mittera Wisconsin is seeking a Human Resources & Safety Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations, including hiring, payroll changes, training, and safety initiatives. You will partner with management to drive employee engagement and maintain compliant HR processes.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred.
• Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Complete personnel documentation for hires, promotions, payroll changes, and terminations.
• Assist full-cycle recruitment; post openings and interview candidates with supervisors.
• Coordinate pre-employment tasks and conduct new hire orientations.
• Assist with policy implementation and interpretation for employees.
• Support payroll tasks and safety-related training; manage safety files.
