Job summary

Mittera Group Inc in Wisconsin seeks a Human Resources & Safety Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, payroll tasks, and safety initiatives at our Beaver Dam plant. You will help with recruitment, employee relations, training, and corporate communications while backing up the HR Manager and EHS Coordinator.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in HR, an associate degree, strong confidentiality, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR experience preferred.
• Associate degree in HR/Business preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with employee data.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience in manufacturing or hourly workforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day HR operations and processes.
• Support recruitment activities and new hire onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment tasks and orientations.
• Assist with payroll-related tasks and benefits enrollment training.
• Support safety initiatives and incident investigations.
• Assist with safety committee meetings and records.
• Manage plant social media and internal communications.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve engagement and retention.
• Backup HR Manager and EHS Coordinator when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
