Regions is seeking a Business Unit Compliance Analyst in Hoover, AL. This role operates as a first line of defense in risk management, ensuring adherence to laws and internal guidelines within a defined product area.

You will contribute to process improvements and develop a solid understanding of the relevant product line. Responsibilities include researching regulations, partnering with leadership, conducting monitoring/testing, delivering compliance training, and supporting policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in Compliance, Quality Assurance/Control, Audit, or related compliance function
• Or HS Diploma with 7 years of related compliance experience
• Master’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of rules and regulations for a specific line of business
• Establishes partnerships with leadership and acts as a compliance consultant
• Researches laws and regulations impacting the business unit
• Administers monitoring and testing to ensure regulatory compliance
• Delivers training to increase compliance awareness
• Assists with development of policies and procedures
• Supports regulatory change management and reporting
