Mercy House in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Human Resources Recruitment Specialist to serve as a key liaison between Mercy House and prospective employees throughout recruitment, orientation, and onboarding.

The role requires proficiency in applicant tracking systems, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple open positions, coordinate interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and HR software.
• Detail-oriented and proficient in Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of recruitment best practices, candidate sourcing, selection, and employment laws.

Responsabilités

• Post job descriptions on multiple boards to attract qualified candidates.
• Screen candidates via phone to assess qualifications and culture fit; schedule interviews.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers; conduct reference/background checks.
• Assist in extending job offers and onboarding; update new hire documents.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in recruitment marketing initiatives.
